Good afternoon, dear Prayer Warriors, (note: this is a double issue- covering the next 2 weeks)

We are in the eleventh week of Ordinary Time in the month of June which is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Today we remember St Romuald. Saturday is the feast of St Aloysius Gonzaga. This Sunday is the solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi). Next Tuesday we celebrate the Nativity of St John the Baptist. Next Friday, (6/27)  is the solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Saturday (6/28) we honor the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St Irenaeus. Sunday (6/29) is the feast day of Saints Peter and Paul. Monday, (6/30) we honor the first Martys of the Holy Roman Church. On Tuesday (7/1) we remember St Junipero Serra.

May all the angels and St Romuald, St Aloysius, St John the Baptist, St Irenaeus, Saints Peter and Paul, the first Roman martyrs and St Junipero Serra, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us and lead us closer to the Sacred Heart of our Savior Jesus Christ, present body, blood, soul and divinity in the Holy Eucharist.

We lift up prayers for all of the intentions of Pope Leo XIV and this June:

That the world might grow in compassion

Let us pray that each one of us might find consolation in a personal relationship with Jesus, and from his Heart, learn to have compassion on the world.

Thanksgiving

We are united in gratitude for favors received and answered prayers of intentions for which we have prayed. Thank you dear God, for always hearing and answering our prayers according to your Divine Will and in your perfect timing.

We are grateful for the beginning of the season of summer. May it be a time of relaxation and nurture, adventure, reunions and enjoying the beauty of creation.

We lift up thanks, as the school year ends, for our educators, students, schools and staff for sharing wisdom, knowledge and understanding and pray for the Holy Spirit to continue to guide and inspire all with curiosity, creativity and wonder.

We are grateful for our human hearts in all of their intricacy, form and function and for the core role they play in our physical and emotional life. We also thank God for the human hearts of Jesus and Mary and all they did for us.

Forgiveness

Sacred Heart of Jesus, in your mercy and love, heal us from lukewarmness, self-centeredness, pride and the indulgence of our passions that block your loving spirit from flowing through us. Help us pursue a path of holiness.

Help us to reconcile with our brothers and sisters. Through the Immaculate Heart of Mama Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, may we learn to get over petty aggravation, heal from deep wounds and nurture a habit of forgiveness.

Special Intentions

We join in prayers for the St Vincent de Paul team on rotation this week, may they be guided by the Holy Spirit and the love of neighbor in their visits to people in need.

We pray for peace. We lift up a fervent prayer that all may hear and follow the guidance of Jesus, the Prince of Peace, to lead us toward peace in our world, peace in our families and peace in our hearts. Dearest Holy Family, please intercede in the Holy Land.

We share prayers for the souls and families of all of the victims and also for the sole survivor of the tragic plane crash in India last week. May all come to a place of peace and consolation.

We pray for true freedom within ourselves and, as much as possible, may we work for it within our families, communities, country and world in accordance with God's loving will and mercy. May we follow the prayer of St Francis seeking first to console, to understand and to love.

We join in prayer for all the situations that break God's heart including when people treat each other with cruelty, unkindness or indifference. When possible, may we shine His light in those dark places.

We lift up Chris and Darrian and family in the loss of their one year old, Sophia Grace, to drowning. May the Lord bring His peace, healing and consolation to this devastated family.

We pray for all priests, nuns and religious, that their hearts may be fixed on Jesus and that they may be supported by prayers, their parishioners, loved ones and the communion of saints in their ministry.

We pray for the special intentions held in the hearts of each of our parishioners and friends.

Healing

We pray, through the intercession of St Peregrine, Saint Leopold Maria Mandich and St Agatha, for those with cancer diagnoses, undergoing testing and in treatment, throughout their challenges and while living their recovery.

We continue to lift up all those that have been on our cancer list and are continuing their journey to healing.

May all patients and their families have a spirit of fortitude, trust, peace, hope and, if it be the Lord's will, bestow miraculous healings! Above all, may they know that they are never alone in their struggles.

Through the intercession of St Dymphna, St John of God and St Benedict Joseph Labre, we lift up those in with mental and emotional health issues, including anxiety and depression, and seeking to be free from addictions. We also lift up their psychiatrists and professionals who work with them.

We lift up those in hospitals, nursing homes, homebound, that they may have loving care, many graces and peace to surround them and truly know the unfathomable love of God and their important mission and ability- to offer their challenges and limitations as a prayer.

We join in fervent prayers for our dear Fr Walter Gaudreau who has been hospitalized for almost a month, that he have healing, renewed strength, the kindest care and return home with full restoration of health.

We lift up Bram as he recovers from brain surgery.

We pray for all caregivers, for an outpouring of fortitude, peace and angels to surround them.

We share in special prayers for all in hospice and their families. May Steve, Tammy, Veronica, Bill Johnson, John Cooper, and Lee Pettingill have comfort, peace and loving care to surround them during this sacred time of transition. May St Joseph, patron of departing souls, be close to them.

Eternal Peace

We pray for the souls of those who will soon die and those who have passed to the Lord, especially

Sophia Grace Trillo, one year old, for whom we prayed

Jim Boulette

and all the holy souls in Purgatory

May they be united with Christ in Heaven, and may their loved ones have peace and consolation.
